The Iranian government is discussing the ICO ban on Telegram

According to reports, senior Iranian government officials are discussing possible measures to ban Telegram, in part because of concerns that Telegram’s token will be issued that may damage the national currency. According to the American news website Al-Monitor, Hassan Firouzabadi, the Secretary of the National Cyberspace High Commission, asked Iranian national television to screen Telegram, claiming that the company’s dominance in Iran is “an enemy of the private sector” and added: “Telegram It has officially announced that it will be used as an economic platform, and Telegram will destroy Iran’s national currency.” A few days ago, Telegram obtained a total of US$1.7 billion through two rounds of financing.
