ETH encounters the worst Q1 ever

According to Coindesk analyst Omkar Godbole, ETH dropped 47.5% in the first three months of 2018, setting the worst quarterly decline ever. According to the statistics, ETH showed a significant increase of 1121% and 527% respectively in Q1 2016 and Q1 2017; the largest decline since then was 2016 Q4, which fell by 40%. For the quarterly collapse, Omkar Godbole gave the reason is that in the first quarter of 2018, the SEC focused on ICO fraud and investigated dozens of ICO projects, in addition, social media issued a cryptocurrency ban. According to the “Currencies World” market, ETH now has a global average price of 379.59 US dollars, a decrease of 6.21%.
