BMO: Clients will be prohibited from purchasing crypto currencies using Interac debit cards

A BMO spokesman said in an email Tuesday that customers will no longer be allowed to use Interac debit cards or Mastercard credit or debit cards to purchase digital currency. It is reported that transactions for MasterCard products will be completely blocked. Customers who use Interac cards to purchase digital currencies will be temporarily charged, but Interac transactions will eventually be blocked.
