Bitcoin ABC Chief Developer Confirms BCH Will Perform Hard Fork Upgrade Next Month

Bitcoin ABC chief developer Amaury Séchet has confirmed that Bitcoin cash will perform a hard fork on the 15th of the month to perform upgrades including increasing the block size. It is understood that currently Bitcoin ABC 0.17.0 has been officially released. When the timestamp in the BCH blockchain network is equal to or greater than 1526400000 after the upgrade is implemented, the new consensus protocol will be activated in the next block. After this upgrade, Bitcoin’s cash block size will increase to 32MB, resulting in greater transaction volume and faster speed.
