Safety company Imperva Incapsula discovers new virus “Kitty” in Monroe mining

According to Cryptovest, security company Imperva Incapsula discovered the new virus “Kitty” of the Monroe mining, which exploited the vulnerability of Drupal, an open source content management system (CMS).
According to Imperva’s blog, the virus exploits a remote execution code vulnerability (CVE-2018-7600) from Drupal released on March 8, 2018. The virus was attacked in various forms after it was discovered in early April. If the virus is infected, it binds to the server and starts the Monroe mining program called “kkworker”.
